About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at 1st Staff. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tuition sessions to students with SEN, adapting lesson plans to meet individual needs
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective support
  • Collaborate with the support network to provide a comprehensive and nurturing environment
  • Identify and address existing and potential barriers to learning, developing strategies to overcome them
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEN and challenging behavior
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching styles to meet individual needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
