Job Summary:

The Furniture Assembler/ Bench Hand Joiner will be responsible for assembling furniture using hand and power tools to produce high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality, accurate, and timely work to meet client demands and tight deadlines.
  • Examine finished and in-process work for defects and flaws before they leave the department.
  • Use paperwork to carry out specific detailed tasks (labels, drawings, and specifications).
  • Have a flexible approach to work.
  • Carry out general tasks when asked by the Line leader/Manager.
  • Be a proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to and maintain all Health & Safety requirements, personal and company-wide.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in joinery or furniture bench assembly.
  • Attention to detail with regards to following plans and specifications.
  • Passion to produce high-quality products.
  • Good communication to relay information and understand other department or team requirements.
  • High energy and endurance.
  • Joinery qualification, not essential but would be an advantage.
