Position Overview
As a Care Support Specialist, you will become an integral part of our compassionate team, working closely with an individual who requires assistance on a 2:1 basis. This role is unique and varied, offering you the chance to engage with someone who has a great sense of humor and enjoys light-hearted moments.
Your responsibilities will encompass all facets of daily living, including accompanying him to appointments, preparing meals, managing finances, maintaining a clean living environment, and providing personal care such as bathing and grooming. While communication may be limited, you will have the support of a dedicated team to help you build a rapport and understand his needs over time.
As the gentleman enjoys outings in his mobility vehicle, it is essential that you possess a full UK manual driving license with at least one year of driving experience.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who have a background in care and are confident in providing support to those with complex needs. While experience is valued, we offer comprehensive training, including an induction program and shadowing opportunities, to ensure you feel equipped in your new role. Additionally, we will support you in obtaining your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and cover your annual SSSC registration fees.

Work Schedule
Our tailored care services operate 24/7, which means your shifts will include a variety of hours, including waking nights. Weekend work will also be part of your schedule on a rotational basis. We prioritize a healthy work/life balance, ensuring that your rota is provided at least four weeks in advance.
