Your Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational performance, encompassing areas such as self-care, productivity, and leisure activities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide specialist group and individual therapy sessions to promote functional skills development and enhance well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Serve as a resource for advice and guidance on occupational therapy matters to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the supervision and training of Occupational Therapy Assistants, fostering their professional development.
We are looking for an individual who possesses:
- A strong understanding of mental health conditions and their impact on occupational performance.
- Experience working in a secure ward environment and awareness of the associated risks.
- Proven ability to facilitate group activities and engage patients effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and delivering high-quality care.
- An Occupational Therapy degree and registration with the HCPC.
