About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team at New Look. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profit growth through effective product planning and stock management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profit across all channels and markets.
  • Work closely with Buying to ensure the right product is in the right stores at the right times, maximizing profitability and reducing risks.
  • Contribute to range development, ensuring the product reflects the brand strategy and meets customer needs.
  • Manage commitment to ensure operational efficiency and stock targets are met.
  • Present departmental strategies and range sign-offs to stakeholders, including lessons learned and future plans.
  • Monitor product groups, determine pricing strategies, and influence range building in conjunction with the Buyer.
  • Apply knowledge of the competitive market place to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Ensure in-season activity delivers planned sales, margin, and terminal stock targets.
  • Analyze data, identify issues and trends, and provide recommendations to protect and maximize profit.
  • Manage the in-season Open to Buy (OTB) down to season/department level, ensuring flexibility and margin.
