Role Overview – Procurement Specialist II

We are in search of a Procurement Specialist who will be accountable for formulating and implementing a thorough procurement strategy for designated components (goods/services), ensuring the delivery of quality, cost-effective products in a timely manner, including the execution of risk mitigation measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct purchasing and inquiry activities within established timelines and budgets, expediting bids and supplier negotiations.
- Communicate order statuses with internal stakeholders and ensure the accuracy of system data.
- Resolve commercial issues effectively, possessing advanced skills to manage high-value and complex purchase orders.
- Drive risk mitigation processes with suppliers as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Engineering, and Project Teams to address execution challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement. Relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in communication and negotiation, capable of leading internal and external meetings professionally.
- Adept at identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Familiarity with SAP and other relevant business systems.
- Demonstrated commitment and proactivity, with a strong collaborative spirit, decision-making capabilities, and a willingness to learn from every experience.
- Candidates must be eligible to work and reside in the country without sponsorship.
