About the Position

​

As an Academic Scheduler, your primary responsibility will be to develop and oversee the academic timetable for our institution, ensuring that room utilization, teaching schedules, and student experiences are harmoniously integrated. This role is vital in supporting the academic structure of our organization and demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual.

Key Responsibilities:

​


• Collaborate: Engage closely with all on-campus and central academic teams to ensure the timetable meets their specific requirements and priorities.


• Manage Facilities: Maintain up-to-date facilities information to facilitate effective room allocation and utilization.


• Resource Planning: Supervise all aspects of resource planning, including venues, rooms, and staff, while addressing any conflicts that may arise.


• Individual Timetables: Guarantee that all students receive personalized timetables in a timely manner.


• Monitor and Record: Keep accurate timetabling information on our central platform.


• Problem-Solve: Tackle and resolve any timetabling challenges or adjustments, such as rescheduling classes and arranging lecturer substitutions.


• Coordinate Bookings: In collaboration with the Building and Technical Team, oversee the process for students booking resources and spaces.


• Exam Scheduling: Organize the timetabling of examinations and assessments.

Qualifications:

​


• Significant experience in a Senior Administration and/or Timetabling role involving complex resource allocation.


• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of timetabling.


• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.


• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.


• Methodical and logical approach to planning and resolving issues.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.


• Proficient IT skills for managing timetabling software and platforms.
