  • Safely Operate a Company Van: Transport goods or passengers to designated locations while ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Load and Unload Packages: Load and unload packages as required, taking care to handle fragile or heavy items with care.
  • Ensure Timely Deliveries and Pick-Ups: Ensure that deliveries and pick-ups are made on time, meeting the needs of our customers and clients.
  • Operate an Electronic Device: Use an electronic device supplied by the client to track and manage deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Perform Routine Vehicle Inspections: Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure that the company van is in good working condition.
  • Maintain Accurate Delivery Logs: Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork to ensure that all deliveries and pick-ups are properly documented.
  • Provide Friendly and Professional Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service to our clients and customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a van driver is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to Lift and Carry Heavy Items: Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as required.
  • Strong Communication and Time-Management Skills: Possess strong communication and time-management skills, ensuring that deliveries and pick-ups are made on time.
  • Knowledge of Local Routes and Roadways: Knowledge of local routes and roadways is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.11-£13.44 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Delivery driver experience: 1 year (required)
  • Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
