Job Title: Class 1 Driver Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to transport timber goods from mills to various customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E license, a valid CPC, and a digital tachograph card. Previous experience with ratchet and strapping is preferred.

Responsibilities:

* Transport timber goods safely and efficiently
* Operate flatbed Class 1 vehicles with ratchet-strapped loads
* Ensure all deliveries are made on time and to a high standard
* Maintain high standards of vehicle care and safety

Key Information:

* Contract Type: Temporary
* Hourly Rate: £17.00 per hour PAYE with 28 days annual leave. £20.57 via Umbrella. £24 per Night Out £962 per week
* Working Hours: Monday - Friday Leave site on the Monday, Night out all week and return Friday

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year HGV experience
* Valid LGV/HGV Class 1 C+E License
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than 9 penalty points
