Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £28,500 basic salary with OTE £100,000+ per annum

Role Overview

  • Conduct visits to various locations within your designated area to enforce Court orders aimed at securing payments on behalf of our local authority clients.
  • Assess the financial situation of debtors by gathering essential income information, which may involve assisting them in completing necessary forms.
  • Request full payment to settle outstanding debts. If full payment is not achievable, you will need to establish and agree on a feasible repayment plan.
  • Discreetly and sensitively inquire with neighbors if debtors have vacated or relocated from a property.
  • Recognize and evaluate vulnerability, directing debtors to appropriate support services when necessary. You will also be required to inform the creditor when such situations arise.
  • Collaborate with office-based colleagues regarding ongoing cases.
  • Manage payments received for your assigned cases; handle cash transactions, maintain receipts, and complete all required documentation.
  • Prepare brief reports following your visits, along with any necessary paperwork.
  • Take possession of goods when required.
  • Remove goods when deemed necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

  • £28,500 basic salary with OTE exceeding £100,000.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Full Clean UK Driving License (held for a minimum of 2 years).
  • Level 2 Taking Control of Goods Qualification.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Must provide a clean DBS and have no CCJ/IVA.
