Teaching Assistant Opportunity with GSL Education

GSL Education is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a vibrant and forward-thinking school in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and providing one-on-one support to students.
  • Facilitate small group activities and support students needing additional help.
  • Maintain a positive classroom environment and promote respectful behavior.
  • Support teachers in assessing student progress and providing feedback.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and foster student engagement and personal development.

Requirements:

  • A degree in any subject or relevant experience with transferable skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach, demonstrating a passion for education.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and teaching styles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply through GSL Education.
