As a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist, you'll play a key role in delivering value for the business through the agreement and implementation of supplier contracts, deployment of a framework for management of key supplier relationships, and commercial oversight to high-value project procurements.

The Role

As a Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be responsible for end-to-end procurement and supply chain activity, including analysis of parts spend/demand profiles to inform sourcing strategies, market analysis for future requirements, initial sourcing activity, and supplier due diligence. You'll also manage the delivery, mobilisation, and integration of procured supply chain solutions into operations, undertake open order book reviews with suppliers, and maintain contracts/pricing in the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end procurement and supply chain activity, including analysis of parts spend/demand profiles to inform sourcing strategies, market analysis for future requirements, initial sourcing activity, and supplier due diligence.
  • Managing the delivery, mobilisation, and integration of procured supply chain solutions into operations.
  • Undertaking open order book reviews with suppliers, with level of engagement driven by risk profile.
  • Maintenance of contracts/pricing in ERP system.
  • Ensuring supplier performance in line with Babcock Group P&SC KPIs and PI through effective Contract Management.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a Procurement & Contract Management role.
  • Supplier Contract Management experience – Management of supplier contracts and relationships.
