Job Summary:

iO Associates - UK/EU is seeking a highly skilled DV Cleared Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing and prioritizing network issues, addressing technical problems, and collaborating with vendors to resolve security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and prioritize network issues to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Address technical problems and interact with vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot using lab setups to identify and resolve complex network issues.
  • Manage escalations and generate reports to provide visibility into network performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security vulnerabilities and improve network security.
  • Participate in service review meetings to recommend improvements and optimize network performance.

Requirements:

  • 2nd/3rd line NOC/SOC support experience with a strong understanding of network infrastructure.
  • Expertise with Cisco networking (Nexus/Catalyst) and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Deep knowledge of OSI and TCP/IP protocols, as well as proficiency in BGP, OSPF, RIP, EIGRP, Ethernet, VLANs, Port Aggregation, and 802.1Q trunking.
  • Familiarity with Cisco ACI, Hyperflex, UCS, Firepower, ASA, ISE, and BGP EVPN VXLAN, IPSec/SSL VPNs.
  • Experience with Wireshark and Juniper networking, as well as understanding of ITIL practices.
  • Certifications: Cisco CCNA (required), Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCIA (preferred).
