About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Children Social Worker to join our Court Team at Wrexham Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 6 sets of Care Proceedings, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of complex Care Proceedings, working closely with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective plans to support children and families in need.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other professionals on child care law and procedures.
