Our client, a leading Science & Technology Recruitment firm, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a well-established organization in the food supplements industry.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as food science or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance environment, specifically within ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain regulatory documents for submission to regulatory authorities, including the collection, review, and submission of manufacturing and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and counterparts to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor legislation related to the manufacture, labeling, transport, and supply of products to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with current food legislation and upcoming regulatory developments to ensure the organization remains compliant.

Key Skills and Abilities:

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good numeric skills and computer literacy to effectively manage and analyze data.
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving to address complex regulatory issues.
  • Ability to effectively liaise with clients on technical matters to provide expert advice and guidance.
