Cavendish Nuclear is a leading provider of critical nuclear solutions in clean energy, defence, and civil new build and decommissioning projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our team.

As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining integrated schedules of project and/or programme activities and events, taking into account dependencies and resource requirements. You will work independently in complex situations across P3M, developing and implementing project structures, and ensuring alignment between the integrated scheduling toolset and the company's financial and material demand toolset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining project structures (WBS / OBS / RBS / CBS)
• Developing and baselining project integrated schedules (Level 1-3)
• Ensuring alignment between the integrated scheduling toolset and the company's financial and material demand toolset
• Providing regular status updates of the integrated schedule and schedule analysis of the impact to the project
• Resource and cost-loaded schedules to inform the IBP and provide financial status of the project

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with regular travel to Warrington or Preston, and home working arrangements. Agile working may be available, applying the principles of fairness and consistency while ensuring the overriding business needs can be met.

Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment/business sector is required. Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC / NEC / JCT etc.) and advanced knowledge of scheduling toolsets (e.g. Primavera / MSP etc.) are essential. Quantitative risk analysis experience and forensic planning experience are also desirable.

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in engineering/project/construction management or a related field is ideal. Professional qualification (e.g. APM / Acoste / RICS) or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
