About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced anaesthetist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and enhance our services. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and experience in independent practice, with a strong focus on pain management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert anaesthetic care to patients, with a focus on chronic and acute pain management
  • Develop and implement effective pain management strategies, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for pain management
  • Participate in educational programs and training initiatives to enhance pain management skills

Requirements

  • GMC Registration - CCT in anaesthesia or equivalent
  • Fellow of faculty of pain medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPM RCA)
  • FRCA or Equivalent
  • Independent practice in acute and chronic pain
  • Experience in a wide range of general anaesthesia

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in managing complex pain syndromes
  • Training in regional anaesthesia
