This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:- Supply Chain Optimization: Assess, streamline, and improve the existing supply chain to align with business needs. Choose suppliers and subcontractors that are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant, ensuring they uphold the high standards set by Atlas Workplace Services.
- Supplier Performance Evaluation: Oversee and evaluate supplier performance, enhancing standards and ensuring compliance through consistent communication.
- Procurement Management: Direct tender and contract renewal processes, from initial procurement stages to the post-implementation of new contracts.
- Cost Benchmarking: Regularly assess category and material costs to guarantee optimal value is consistently achieved.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify avenues for reducing supply chain expenses and improving the self-delivery of M&E tasks.
- Innovative Solutions: Pursue opportunities for added value and innovative strategies to boost supply chain efficiency.
- Compliance and Reporting: Serve as the point of contact for delivering procurement results, ensuring transparency in processes. Engage in carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain and report on advancements.
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications, and Training Required:
- GCSE qualifications or equivalent.
- CIPS Diploma or equivalent experience.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 3-5 years of procurement experience in a facilities management context.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation capabilities with subcontractors and material suppliers.
- Demonstrated success in reducing costs while enhancing supplier performance.
