Full Stack Developer

Logistics UK is a leading trade association representing the entire logistics industry in the UK. Our members come from various sectors, including road, rail, sea, and air, as well as buyers of freight services. We aim to promote the efficient movement of goods and support the supply chain, which is crucial for the UK's economy.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our customised systems. You will work closely with our product owners and testers to ensure we deliver high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with project teams to enhance and develop our customised systems.
- Engage in the entire software lifecycle, from design to maintenance, to ensure our systems meet our development and security standards.
- Provide accurate estimates for development efforts and contribute to the analysis and resolution of defects and issues.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and deliver 3rd line support for our in-house applications.
- Contribute to thorough code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
- Develop systems that align with our development policy and adhere to security guidelines.
- Utilise Azure DevOps as a vital tool for tracking bugs, user stories, and tasks.
- Implement source control for all code projects using Git within Azure DevOps.
- Leverage Azure DevOps to streamline automated builds and releases.
- SFIA Level 3 or above.
- Experience in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining moderate systems.
- Passion for coding and enterprise solutions.
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, JavaScript (AngularJS or React), Azure Microservices, and Visual Studio IDE.
- Familiarity with SQL, Unit Testing (NUnit), Azure DevOps pipelines, source control (Git), and version control strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting and time management skills; effective team player under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills; open to new ideas and flexible with processes.
- Committed to continuous education and improving code quality.
- Proficient use of Version control using Azure DevOps and proficient in branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Lean development including Scrum and Kanban.
- Proficient with Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with how to develop secure applications by avoiding common pitfalls and an understanding of the OWASP top 10.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and how to create automated builds and releases.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the dynamics of being a trade association.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related subject is preferred.
