About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join our team at Humnize. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems and data cabling for our clients in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain EPOS hardware and kiosks, including touch-screen terminals, card readers, receipt printers, and barcode scanners.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity and functionality at every site through 1st and 2nd fix data cabling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues on-site, minimizing disruption to clients' customers.
  • Confidently operate power tools, such as grinders, impact drivers, and SDS drills, to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
Requirements
  • A background in retail or QSR is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Technical experience with EPOS hardware and kiosks, data cabling (Cat5, Cat6), fiber cabling, patch paneling, switches, comms, units, and routers.
  • CSCS/ECS cardholder preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel, work away from home, and tackle overnight shifts when necessary.
  • Quick thinking and adaptability, with a can-do attitude and a passion for problem-solving.
