About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Specialist to join our team at Bioscript Group. As a key member of our information services team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our information strategy, designing and implementing project plans and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of information services projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven insights across research, development, and commercialization.
  • Communicate evolving information strategies and outcomes clearly to stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding.
  • Establish and enforce standard practices around delivery processes with version and change control.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in information services to drive innovation within the company.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational and scientific aspects of project deliverables, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Develop a working knowledge of processes applied by Bioscript Data Insights and the broader organization, using these to take documents from inception to sign-off efficiently.
  • Support project management by monitoring progress against agreed schedules and budgets, advising senior team members of necessary changes.
  • Proactively share ongoing training and development to support transfer of knowledge across the team.
  • Utilize project management skills to manage competing projects, ensuring optimum use of time and resources.
About You
  • Ph.D. or master's degree in library/information services/management or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering library service projects.
  • Strong expertise in systematic literature reviews, key external expert identification, congress or other library services.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing search strategies across deliverables.
  • Familiarity with best-in-class databases, including PubMed, and paid databases.
  • Familiarity with biological and clinical data types and their challenges.
