Job Title: NDT Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced NDT Technician to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a key member of our Central Quality Team, you will be responsible for conducting daily checks, inspecting components, and maintaining NDT equipment and standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct daily checks for penetrant and magnetic testing and maintain accurate logs
* Inspect components for discontinuities and ensure compliance with prescribed specifications
* Collect and send penetrant samples for analysis
* Maintain NDT equipment and standards in line with international, Cosworth, and customer requirements
* Perform other reasonable duties consistent with departmental objectives

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

* Technical specialist with NDT Level II qualification to BS EN4179 NAS 410 or working towards
* Ability to exercise technical judgment and use sound engineering principles
* Effective planning, management, and implementation of NDT activities
* Familiarity with quality systems and procedures
* Understanding of technical, commercial, and competitive factors
* Ability to interact with others to operate effectively within team activities

**Desirable:**

* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
* Good understanding of NDT International standards
* Good understanding of Quality Standards AS9100 and IS09001
* Familiarity with machined aluminium components, castings, and forgings
