Your ideal role:

As a vital member of the Alexander Dennis warehouse team, this position is crucial for the timely and efficient delivery of materials. You will oversee the safe and punctual movement of materials to minimize production disruptions. Leading a small team, the Warehouse Operations Supervisor will motivate and coach team members to achieve performance goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist all team members in the timely delivery of materials in accordance with company policies.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Investigate lost or damaged shipments and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Supervise the warehouse team, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Plan warehouse operations based on shipments, orders, perishability, and stock rotation.
  • Ensure accurate picking and calling off of kits as per MPS and kitting methods.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff to efficiently manage daily volume.
  • Oversee loading, order selection, and receiving processes.
  • Coach and lead teams to meet performance expectations in various warehouse functions.
  • Promote and uphold the company's vision and values.
  • Ensure timely transactions of all material movements.
  • Conduct daily tier 1 meetings and participate in tier 2 and tier 3 meetings.
  • Provide updates on material availability and collaborate with planning teams as needed.
  • Ensure on-time and complete deliveries for production and goods in.
  • Achieve targets under the 5 S's scorecard.
  • Reduce reports of lost or damaged goods.
  • Comply with company HSSE policies and expectations.
  • Foster a cohesive team environment and build collaborative relationships.
  • Exhibit behaviors aligned with the company's vision and values.
