SmartIPlace is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Solution Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and implementing innovative data solutions that drive business value.

As a Data Solution Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering end-to-end data solutions across multiple projects. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, and design robust and scalable solutions. Your expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS, will be instrumental in building and managing our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive data & analytics solutions for applications and products across diverse projects.
  • Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to establish standard data & analytics solution patterns that can be leveraged across multiple products and applications.
  • Ensure that the design aligns with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Secure approvals from review boards for proposed data & analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with peer architects, engineers, product operations teams to build feasible and scalable solutions.
  • Research and document architecturally significant aspects of systems.
  • Promote consistent use of technologies and platforms within the data & analytics ecosystem.
  • Lead or participate in project planning for architecture and design activities, providing accurate estimates.
  • Contribute to the creation of our IT Roadmap.
  • Manage application planning and platform management.
  • Establish enterprise-level Data Security, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management guidelines.
  • Translate detailed business requirements into optimal technology solutions using AWS services (Lambda, EC2, Glue), and other leading open-source tools and technologies.
  • Manage technical delivery for projects; design processes, manage, and drive execution with the support of consultants and associates.
  • Diagnose and address complex problems, including performance issues, scalability concerns, and drive solutions.
  • Leverage tools like Vizio and Miro to facilitate collaboration and solution visualization.
  • Work with RESTful APIs and general service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery technologies is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using various technologies (e.g., databases, ETL tools, data warehousing).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • AWS Solution Architect certification (Associate or above) is highly desirable.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge is a significant advantage.
