Registered Nurse Opportunity at Hallhouse Care Home

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Hallhouse Care Home in Fenwick, East Ayrshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and interactions.
  • Lead and guide the care team, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Monitor resident health and well-being, administering medications and managing specific health needs.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
  • Promote independence and autonomy, while providing hands-on assistance as needed.
  • Act on feedback and prioritize resident health and well-being.
  • Champion respect and dignity, advocating for resident needs and preferences.
  • Encourage social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
  • Prioritize safety and maintain a secure environment for all.
  • Advocate for balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.

About You

  • You are a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
  • You have a passion for care and a dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
  • You possess excellent communication skills, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and needs.
