Vision for Education is actively seeking an Academic Support Specialist to join a Primary educational institution in the Leeds/Bradford area on a Full-Time basis.

In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team, providing support to students on a small group or individual basis, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in assisting children with SEMH needs and demonstrate a genuine passion for this vital role.

As a member of the pastoral team, your responsibilities will include implementing tailored behavior strategies (SEMH plans) developed in collaboration with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and other pastoral staff.

Your primary focus will be on Key Stage 1 students.
