Solaris AIX Engineer

FPSG Connect is seeking a highly skilled Solaris AIX Engineer to join our 24/7 Support Service team at our Client's site in Central Scotland. As a key member of the shift team, you will provide advanced technical expertise, working with Solaris / AIX Servers round the clock, ensuring full availability through providing the highest level of support possible.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivering unparalleled customer service and being a reliable go-to for the organisation outside of core business hours.
2. Providing remediation for security vulnerabilities highlighted by the compliance Team, you will also be supporting in DR tests across multiple virtual platforms.
3. Organising your day to perform scheduled planned change work outside of core business hours & being involved with the setup, configuration, and support of both Linux & Windows servers.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Minimum level of Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Demonstrate relevant work experience in industry, with time spent performing in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in Infrastructure Technology analysis.
4. Proficiencies in Data analysis and Technical knowledge.
5. A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge & technology.
