Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Cleaning Manager to oversee the cleaning operations in our small format retail stores across the Home Counties area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the cleaning operations in up to 23 small format convenience stores
  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Weekly Store Services Checks are met to defined standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of store cleaning staff to deliver exceptional results
  • Manage area and store costs within budget and ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations
  • Conduct regular cleaning audits to maintain high standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cleaning operations, preferably in food retail or small format retailers
  • Proficient in IT, including Excel, Word, and Email
  • Full and valid driving license and ability to travel daily
