Project Accountant

Your new role at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited will be a key part of our finance team, working closely with the financial controller to build high-quality analysis and management reporting for our operations teams. You will be responsible for producing packs to drive performance in key projects and business partnering/challenging teams on their budgets to ensure they are financially on track and delivered on time. You will also work with the wider finance team in reporting key KPIs and support the new system implementation planned for later this year. As the business grows, you will help improve processes to be as efficient as possible.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent)
  • A proven business partner and analyst with experience in dissecting and presenting key data within a project setting and spotting risk and opportunity
  • An excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport across the wider business
