Purpose of the Role:
Lawes Consulting Group is seeking two experienced Commercial Insurance Brokers to join their team in Glasgow. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with company directors to provide exceptional customer service and broking expertise to commercial insurance clients.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering tailored insurance solutions to commercial clients, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle existing business for commercial and corporate clients, providing bespoke insurance solutions and exceptional customer service.
- Deliver quotations, handle renewals, MTA's, insurer placement, invoicing, and other administrative tasks.
- Work closely with account executives, attending client visits and building strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive rates and build robust relationships.
- Keep Acturis records up to date and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance broking, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, business interruption, and other relevant products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and insurers.
- Able to work independently and use initiative, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
- Strong negotiating and relationship building skills, with the ability to secure competitive rates and build robust relationships with insurers.
- Acturis experience essential, with strong computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- CII qualifications desirable, with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
