Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Finance Operations Cashier within a well-established and respected legal firm.
This position reports directly to the Finance Manager and encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:
- Management of Office and Client account administration
- Handling Legal Aid billing and inquiries
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, petty cash, credit cards, and expenses
- Daily bank reconciliations for client accounts
- Preparation of monthly compliance reports for regulatory bodies and partners
- Issuance of Office and Client account cheques
- Processing of Office and Client account receipts
- Facilitating Client to Office transfers
- Monitoring residual balances in client accounts
- Generating time and billing reports
- Assisting with archiving requirements as needed
- Performing other ad-hoc tasks as required
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, and have a solid understanding of the Solicitors' Accounts Rules and VAT Regulations. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of effective communication with colleagues.
Additionally, candidates should be prepared to work extra hours during peak periods to meet the demands of the role.
