Maintenance Technician

Hours: 42 hours a week
Overtime: Double time

Shift Patterns:
- 06:00 - 18:00 (3 days)
- 18:00 - 06:00 (2 days)
- 4 days off
- 06:00 - 18:00 (2 days)
- 18:00 - 06:00 (2 days)
- 3 days off in rotation
Requirements:
- Awareness of HACCP, food hygiene and safety requirements
- Fluent English
- Computer skills required
- Experience in working in repair and maintenance of machinery in a food or drink manufacturing environment (5+ Years)
- Level 3 NVQ in engineering and 18th Edition preferable but not essential
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with working in a team
As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain and repair all production equipment to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and safely to minimize equipment downtime.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Perform corrective and preventive mechanical maintenance
- Perform repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment
- Support the installation of new equipment
- Ensure all repairs are documented
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area
- Complete all paperwork neatly and correctly
- Participate in BOPEX (continuous improvement) program
- Comply with all procedures, regulations, and policies applicable
- Stop and report unsafe operations and use mandatory PPE as defined
- Offer flexibility in working hours subject to business needs
