Exciting Opportunity for a Design Engineer
C-Tech Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join a leading heavy machinery manufacturer in the Cookstown area. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to work in a booming market and contribute to the development of innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new heavy machinery products from concept through to completion.
- Modify existing machinery to meet bespoke customer requirements.
- Produce working drawings and engineering specifications, including BOMs and operator manuals.
- Specify components for new and existing products.
- Ensure new and existing products comply with relevant regulations.
- Attend client site visits to understand needs and establish effective design solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience in full product design in a heavy engineering environment, such as recycling, screening & crushing, agricultural machinery, trailers, or similar.
- Proficiency in the use of Solid Works / Solid Edge / Creo or similar CAD software.
- A creative and innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
