Job Summary
Nisbets is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Management team in overseeing the daily operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for opening and closing the store in a manager's absence, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Responsible for daily floor planning, ensuring the right staff are in the right place at the right time to drive results.
- Acts as a role model to the team, demonstrating excellent end-to-end customer service and motivating the team to do the same.
- Plans and executes motivational team briefs throughout each day, inspiring the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Understands KPIs and how they are used to drive store results, taking ownership of contributing to store sales targets and KPIs.
- Takes a leading role with store outreach, ensuring activities and resources are incorporated into the daily plan, demonstrating best practice to the team.
- Identifies revenue potential within the local area, including regular and new business opportunities.
- Participates in general shop floor duties, including stock replenishment and processing deliveries, ensuring the store consistently exceeds visual merchandising standards.
- Accurately completes stock auditing processes in line with company compliance, ensuring the team processes customer payment transactions in line with policy.
- Ensures end-of-day reconciliation is completed in full, investigating and reporting discrepancies in line with policy.
- Conducts weekly role-play scenarios to develop the team's skills in areas such as sales, conflict resolution, and outreach.
- Adheres to the daily operating checklist, delegating and following up with the team to ensure the smooth running of the store.

- Competitive base salary £27,000
- Performance-related bonus paid quarterly onto your annual salary (pro rata for part-time)
