Cover Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Cover Manager at a secondary school in Barnet. As a Cover Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and coordinate cover for absent teachers, ensuring all classes are effectively supervised.
- Communicate with teaching and support staff to ensure cover arrangements are clear and efficient.
- Work with external supply agencies to source high-quality cover teachers when necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance and adjustment of timetables to accommodate changes in staffing.
- Provide general administrative support to the school's leadership team as needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with school management software is an advantage.
