Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Mental Health Inpatient Services at various locations across Lancashire & South Cumbria. As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose when and where you work, with opportunities to work full-time or part-time shifts.

Main Duties

As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs for patients with mental health conditions. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based, person-centered care that is focused on recovery.

About the Role

This is a temporary position, with opportunities to transfer to a permanent role in the future. You will need to be able to attend and pass training in Positive and Safe physical restraint, enhanced life support, and moving & handling. This post is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with:

  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team structure
  • Experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care needs
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions and their treatments, recovery principles, and person-centered care
