Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing a visible deterrence, responding to incidents, and collaborating with local authorities to ensure the safety and security of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrolling the Shop Floor: You will be responsible for patrolling the shop floor and deterring criminal activity, ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
  • Identifying Vulnerabilities: You will assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work proactively to minimize risk, using your expertise to develop effective security strategies.
  • Liaising with Management and Local Authorities: You will liaise with management and local authorities when applicable, providing detailed reports and updates on security incidents.
  • Completing Incident Reports: You will complete detailed and legible incident reports, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improving security measures.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: You will work closely with colleagues and management to ensure seamless communication and effective security operations.

Requirements

  • SIA Licence: You must have a valid SIA licence to apply for this role.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience of working in a retail security role is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
