Key Responsibilities

This role entails fulfilling the responsibilities of a Theatre Scrub/ODP Practitioner within the surgical environment.

You will be an integral member of the theatre team, providing expert assistance to surgeons and surgical teams throughout the entire intraoperative process.

Your duties will include delivering high-quality patient care and managing patients during procedures conducted under various types of anaesthesia.

You will have the opportunity to enhance your skills and specialty knowledge to support surgical practices in accordance with the rotation plan.

Providing compassionate, patient-centered care is paramount.

You will also lead and supervise both qualified and unqualified staff within the team.

Effective communication at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team is crucial.

In the absence of senior nursing staff, you may be required to take charge of a surgical operating list and manage a group of patients as deemed appropriate.

Essential Qualifications
