About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our Patient Transport and Clinical Service team on a casual basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing patient transport in a safe, comfortable, and sympathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and assist patients with different requirements based on their mobility classification.
  • Work as part of a team to provide patient transport services, observing road and driving conditions at all times.
  • Provide a warm and caring service to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • A full driving licence which allows you to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Qualified to FREC3.
  • Strong customer service or patient caring skills.
  • Flexibility to work 9-hour shifts Monday to Friday, with the possibility of increasing to 12 hour shifts, including unsocial hours, bank holidays, evenings, and weekends.
