- Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations, allocate shifts, and manage staff at the Sports Centre.
- Program Development: Coordinate and deliver sports and fitness programs for all users, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Marketing and Promotion: Assist in promoting sports services and facilities, leveraging social media and other marketing channels to reach a wider audience.

- Health and Safety: Conduct risk assessments, ensure safety compliance, and provide first aid to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Facility Management: Oversee equipment, cleanliness, and event preparation, ensuring the Sports Centre is well-maintained and equipped to meet the needs of users.
- Administrative Duties: Handle bookings, transactions, stock management, and other administrative tasks, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
- A BTEC HND Qualification or similar in Physical Education/Recreation, Management/Sports Coaching or a Fitness Instructor's Award or equivalent.
- Experience within a sports centre role supervising human and physical resources, including marketing of facilities.
- Promoting and delivering classes and exercise programmes including the preparation of individual programmes in fitness and strength & conditioning.
- Leadership skills with experience of providing leadership to recreation and support staff.
- Previous experience of risk assessment/health and safety regulations.
- Awareness of current market place within the sport & recreation sector and evidence of a pro-active response.
- Coaching qualifications in 2 or more sporting disciplines.
- Experience of a computerised recreation management system.
- Preparation of reports and appreciation of financial issues;
