About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our Psychological Therapies Service in South Glos. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering cognitive Behavioural Therapy and integrative therapy to individuals, groups, and families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychological assessments, therapy groups, and individual therapy sessions.
  • Work closely with Recovery colleagues, offering consultation and supervision, and participating in CBT team supervision.
  • Provide specialist supervision to psychology trainees, assistant psychologists, and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners.
  • Teach, train, and supervise multidisciplinary team members.
  • Contribute to service evaluation and audit.

Person Specification
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with complex mental health client groups in community MDT settings.
  • Experience of providing individual and group psychological therapies to service users and families.
  • Experience of supervision of psychological staff, including assistants, trainees, or other MDT professionals.
