Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Copy Editor to join our team in the UK. As a Copy Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of our legal content.

About the Role

As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for:

  • Editing and proofreading legal know-how resources to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Liaising with authors and editors to ensure seamless collaboration
  • Developing proficiency in our web publishing system to streamline content delivery
  • Providing regular feedback and training to editors to enhance their skills
  • Contributing to editorial product development projects to integrate our content with other Thomson Reuters products

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills
  • Strong team working skills and adaptability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • An undergraduate degree in Law or a related field, plus the GDL
  • Previous experience in an editorial role, or experience in a legal setting
