Position Overview

SRG is excited to collaborate with a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector to identify a Microbiology Team Leader.

This position is ideal for an individual with substantial microbiological expertise in GMP settings, seeking to embrace a new opportunity and enhance their professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising all microbiological functions on-site
  • Leading the microbiology team
  • Managing the microbiology testing timetable while ensuring adherence to GMP and pharmacopoeia standards
  • Conducting microbiology tests as necessary
  • Leading investigations and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) while overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) during external audits and inspections
  • Accountable for the qualification and validation of equipment and methodologies
  • Providing microbiology training and awareness across the organization
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of QPulse for all microbiological processes
  • Assisting Supplier Quality with audits of external vendors and facilities
  • Preparing and presenting trending reports
  • Taking the lead on compliance protocols

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Microbiology or a related field
  • Significant experience in a senior microbiology position
  • Proven knowledge of GMP and pharmacopoeia regulations
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities
