Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate Company HGV vehicles and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Load and secure vehicles daily, using forklifts and other equipment as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Comply with Company policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Report any delivery issues or exceptions in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 license
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
