About the Role:

Ivy Resource Group is in search of a committed and skilled Secondary Education Support Specialist to become part of a dynamic educational team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering student development and enhancing the learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional support to students, educators, and the curriculum.
  • Assist in the educational growth of students with diverse learning needs.
  • Facilitate learning primarily for students within the specified age range.
  • Provide assistance to students preparing for key assessments and qualifications.
  • Collaborate within the Special Educational Needs Department to ensure effective daily operations.
  • Engage with students through personalized interventions, group activities, and classroom assistance.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children or students in recent years.
  • Proven track record in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum.
  • Confidence in engaging with learners across various educational levels.
  • Preferred qualifications in core subjects such as Maths, English, or Science, though other specializations will be considered.
