Portfolio Analytics Manager

Eames Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Analytics Manager to join a distinguished private credit fund with circa $1 billion in AUM. This dynamic firm operates from offices in London, Europe, and the US, focusing on private credit strategies, including distressed debt and real estate investments.

This role has emerged due to the firm's significant growth, with the headcount doubling over the past 12 months. As a Portfolio Analytics Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Asset Management and play a crucial role in establishing and leading the portfolio monitoring and analytics function.

This is a middle office function, not an investment role. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a new portfolio monitoring and analytics dashboard.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of quarterly performance reports.
  • Manage ad hoc reporting requests, including the calculation of metrics for business decision-making and investment performance analysis.
  • Create tools and processes to establish a world-class portfolio function.
  • Drive process improvements and optimisations.
  • Integrate annual business plans and revaluations into financial metrics and business reporting.

Our ideal candidate:

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in a data analytics/modelling function or a competitor fund in a similar role.
  • Experience working with financial services clients is highly preferential.
  • Highly skilled in financial modelling and possesses excellent Excel capabilities.
  • Experienced with various programming languages and data visualisation tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, and Power BI.

Basic compensation on offer is circa £120-150k + bonus and wider benefits.
