Job Title: Control Room Adviser Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Control Room Adviser to join our team at Dundee City Council. As a key member of our Social Care Response Service, you will play a vital role in providing a 24-hour response service for vulnerable older people, people with physical disabilities, people with mental illness, or people with learning disabilities. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in providing a 24-hour response service for vulnerable individuals * Provide a locally based mobile service to Sheltered Housing tenants when full-time Wardens are off duty * Work with computerised systems to input and retrieve data * Possess good computer/keyboard skills and good written/oral communication skills * Work as a team member and use own initiative with minimum supervision and under pressure * Assess the needs of individuals and provide support accordingly * Demonstrate a non-judgemental and caring approach when dealing with vulnerable people Requirements: * SVQ 2 in Customer Care or higher * Professional Development Award in Tele-healthcare or ability to achieve this award * Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and nights * Commitment to further study/training Working with Us: As a Control Room Adviser with Dundee City Council, you will be part of a dedicated team that makes a real difference in the lives of our citizens.
