Located in the picturesque village of Benderloch, near Oban, we offer a supportive and collaborative work environment for our staff.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our care home, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-quality domestic cleaning service, adhering to company policies and best practices.
  • Undertake all hygienic work practices to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and protect various floor surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Provide a high-quality laundry service for all linen and residents' personal clothing.
  • Ensure laundry is cleaned to a high standard, following specific guidelines and schedules.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of residents' personal information.
  • Comply with all statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety and COSHH.
  • Assist with the daily well-being of residents and help them settle into their new environment.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • 33.8 hours per week.
  • Pension scheme.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).
  • Uniform provided.
  • PVG paid.
  • Onsite parking.
