Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants in Primary Schools across Conwy and surrounding areas.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing assistance to students in the classroom. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of students in and out of the classroom
- Promoting good behavior and managing challenging behavior
- Supervising students during playtime and lunchtime
- Preparing classroom materials and resources
- Observing and reporting on student progress to the class teacher
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children or adults in a caring capacity
- Transferable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, and remaining calm under pressure
- A friendly, positive, and proactive attitude
- Experience working with students with challenging behavior
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (we can assist you in applying for this)
