About the Role

Methods is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will be based on-site and will involve working with our clients to design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient on-prem infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement on-prem infrastructure solutions using a range of technologies, including containerization platforms, provisioning software, and application performance analysis and monitoring tools.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to support continuous delivery of changes using technologies tailored to on-prem environments.
  • Work with our clients to understand their infrastructure needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with our development team to ensure that infrastructure solutions are integrated with our software applications.
  • Ensure that all infrastructure solutions are secure and compliant with relevant government standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in on-prem infrastructure design and implementation, including containerization, provisioning, and application performance analysis and monitoring.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible and Terraform, and containerization platforms, such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including secure design, threat modeling, and incident response.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience working with on-prem DevOps tooling and automation tools.
  • Knowledge of SAST and DAST tooling in deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with on-prem infrastructure security and compliance.
  • Ability to provide training, support, and mentoring to the wider business.
